We ask for your details so we can answer your enquiry and quote your job. That is the whole story, but here it is properly.

What we collect, and why
The estimate form. Name, contact details, postcode, what you're interested in, and, if you use them, the house-sizer summary and the map pin you drop on your roof. We use these to work out your estimate and get back to you. That's it.
The contact form. Your name, how to reach you and your message, used to reply to you.
What we don't do. No advertising cookies, no analytics trackers, no selling or renting your details to anyone, ever. If that changes we'll update this page before it does.
The legal basis
When you send us an enquiry, we process your details because you've asked us to respond (legitimate interest and steps prior to a contract, in the official language). If we end up doing your install, some details move into our job records because the paperwork, certification and guarantees require it (legal obligation and contract).
Where your details live
Form submissions are captured by Netlify, which hosts this site, and land in our email. If you use the roof map on the estimate page, your browser fetches map imagery from Esri's tile service and looks up your postcode via postcodes.io; like any web request, those services see your device's IP address. We don't send them your name or contact details.
How long we keep things
Enquiries that don't go anywhere are cleared out within 12 months. If we quote or do work for you, we keep the job records for as long as the certification, guarantee and tax rules require, because your MCS certificate and workmanship guarantee depend on them existing.
Your rights
- Ask for a copy of what we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct it or delete it.
- Object to us processing it.
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you think we've got it wrong.
