Start to finish

How the job goes.

Six steps, no surprises. This is the actual route from "wonder what we'd save" to a roof that pays its way, and who does what at every stage. Spoiler: the paperwork is us.

Free savings estimate

Week one · free · no visit

Three details in: postcode, roughly what you spend, what you're curious about. We come back within a couple of days with a straight answer on whether solar pays for you and roughly what a system looks like. If it doesn't pay, we say so and that is that.

Sunny says: a north-facing roof isn't a dealbreaker, but we'll tell you straight if the numbers don't dance.
02

The survey

A proper visit

Roof, rafters, loft, consumer unit, meter, the lot. Sometimes the drone goes up for a proper look at the tiles, which beats guessing from the pavement and beats ladders for your gutters. You get a fixed written quote with the panel layout, the kit list and the payback maths. The number does not move after this.

03

The paperwork

This bit is us, not you

We handle the grid application, the MCS registration and the scaffold booking. You put the kettle on. If a form needs filling, it lands on our desk, not your kitchen table.

Install days

Usually 1 to 3 days

Scaffold up a day or two before. Then panels on, inverter in, battery on the wall, everything wired and tested to BS 7671. Dust sheets down, drive swept, and we're out with the least fuss the weather allows.

Sunny says: the kettle's the first thing we test. Priorities.
05

Switch-on

The good bit

We commission the system, register your MCS certificate, sort the export tariff paperwork and walk you round the app. We'll show you what a good day looks like, so you know what to expect from a bad one.

06

The years after

Forever, basically

A handover pack with every certificate and warranty in one folder, then we're on the end of the phone for the life of the system. Health checks, inverter swaps and bird-proofing live over at maintenance and aftercare.

Surveys, without the ladders

Sometimes we send the drone up

Tall roofs, awkward chimneys and fragile tiles get surveyed from the air. The drone photographs every course of tiles, we design the layout from the real roof rather than a guess, and your gutters keep their dignity. The photo on the left is one of ours checking the homework.

For the avoidance of doubt

What it is not.

A sales visit that outstays the biscuits.

A quote that grows arms and legs.

A phone that rings out once you've paid.

If any of that ever happens, you have our number, and the family answers it.

Step one is free and takes a minute.

Three details in, honest numbers back. The other five steps only happen if the first one earns it.
